Admissions Nursing Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Engage in compassionate and professional interactions with potential clients and their families.

• Carry out thorough assessments for potential clients over the phone.

• Collect, review, and document comprehensive clinical and medical details to inform admission decisions.

• Collaborate and share assessment results with admissions coordinators, clinicians, nurses, and other internal teams.

• Facilitate care coordination by ensuring that all necessary clinical information is gathered before admission.

• Execute administrative tasks including auditing and scheduling client admissions.

• Recognize and report medical, psychiatric, or safety issues to the appropriate teams.

• Maintain precise, timely, and detailed documentation in CRM and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and all internal policies and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent certification is mandatory.

• Experience in behavioral health, mental health, or substance use treatment is highly desirable.

• Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities with a keen eye for detail.

• Familiarity with EHR and CRM systems is preferred.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to build relationships effectively.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quick to learn new systems.

• Capacity to work entirely remotely with a dependable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace.
