This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer personalized advising to designated students seeking admission to medical and other healthcare professional programs, including Physician Assistant, Dental, Pharmacy, and Veterinary programs.
• Provide comprehensive essay reviews, feedback, and assistance with personal statements, experiences/activities, secondary essays, school lists, MD/PhD essays, letters of intent/interest, and preparation for mock interviews.
• Assist with review committee functions, insights into graduate schools, and other materials requested by clients.
• Address student inquiries and deliver updates within established timelines.
• Organize Zoom support calls and effectively manage student appointments.
• Ensure timely completion of application tasks, documents, and student obligations.
• Professionally address first-line client service issues.
• Maintain ongoing communication with students to facilitate progress and optimize acceptance rates.
• Conduct Zoom intake assessments and generate written evaluations regarding application preparedness, academic qualifications, and competitiveness strategies.
• Monitor deliverables, applicant timelines, due dates, and completed revisions using the team's tracking system.
• Provide customer support throughout the engagement process.
• A minimum of five to eight years of experience on a medical admissions committee.
• A graduate-level degree (master's or higher) is mandatory.
• Possession of a Medical Degree (MD or DO) is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of the premedical track and the medical school admissions process.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Outstanding organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple students under tight deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate effectively.
• Willingness to adapt to the seasonal demands of the medical admissions cycle.
• Proven record of professional development within the admissions field.
• Demonstrated history of providing excellent customer service and fostering student success, particularly in admissions support.
• Technically adept with reliable internet connectivity.
• High-speed internet with sufficient bandwidth to utilize all necessary tools simultaneously.
• Successful completion of background checks, reference verification, employment history, education, and credential validation may be required.
