This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the recruitment process for counselor and faculty-in-training positions, as well as camper admissions.
• Take charge of the entire staff recruitment cycle from job advertising to onboarding.
• Manage the camper application process and the decision-making procedures.
• Develop and nurture a pipeline for returning staff and create engagement programs.
• Recruit and train teams for first-round interviews.
• Enhance job descriptions, recruitment strategies, interview frameworks, application processes, materials, and workflows.
• Coordinate performance evaluations and decisions related to rehire or promotions.
• Establish and maintain relationships with recruiting networks and organizations.
• Oversee applicant tracking and application platforms.
• Assist in the hiring process for camp leadership roles.
• Collaborate with academic leadership to create application problem sets and scoring rubrics.
• Recruit and train teams for application review.
• Conduct hiring processes for counselor and faculty-in-training roles.
• Perform interviews, reference checks, candidate communications, offer management, and pipeline monitoring.
• Engage in outreach to math communities and alumni networks.
• Facilitate the onboarding of faculty and staff, including background checks, I-9 verifications, HRIS setup, documentation, photos, bios, and training sessions.
• Assist faculty and staff in arranging travel and preparing for camp.
• Monitor applications, coordinate reviews and scoring, and assist with final admissions decisions.
• Create and maintain admissions dashboards.
• Support the customer service team with inquiries related to admissions.
• Participate in an on-site camp role or provide remote support via on-call shifts and camp visits during the summer.
• Strong mathematical background at the bachelor's or master's degree level.
• Familiarity with the math enrichment ecosystem.
• Some teaching experience in a math enrichment environment.
• Experience as either a student or staff member in a math summer program is highly preferred.
• Background in administrative, customer service, or project and people management roles.
• Prior full-time work experience is not mandatory.
• Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Possess sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Quick learner of new technologies and adept at identifying workflow enhancements.
• Comfortable working with complex spreadsheets and performing data analysis.
• Adaptable to a small, growing organization.
• Must possess authorization to work in the US.
• Available for interviews and reference calls across various time zones.
• Willing to travel occasionally during the academic year and extensively during the summer.
