This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Direct the daily operations of the nursing facility in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations.
• Supervise the quality of care and evaluate the overall operations of the nursing facility.
• Manage the comprehensive operational functionality of the facility.
• Track daily census figures.
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, assess, and lead facility programs and activities.
• Generate reports on budget forecasts, revenue, and expenditures while ensuring adherence to the budget.
• Create and maintain documented policies, procedures, and professional standards.
• Formulate policies and procedures and hold direct reports accountable for their implementation.
• Exemplify the organization’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Establish connections with community organizations and local hospital leadership.
• Keep abreast of industry regulations, laws, and compliance updates.
• Supervise staffing levels and the implementation of policy and procedural modifications.
• Address HR challenges and risk management issues.
• Oversee capital improvement projects and participate in advisory committees.
• Ensure compliance with safety, fire prevention, smoking, and infection-control regulations among personnel, residents, and visitors.
• Cultivate and sustain a robust industry and community reputation.
• Collaborate with HR, Therapy, Clinical, and Finance support teams.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors.
• Support clinical quality-assurance initiatives and accountability measures.
• Monitor collections and accounts receivable on a daily basis.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and reduce turnover.
• Regularly review quality metrics.
• Assist survey teams and provide information to minimize or eliminate deficiency citations.
• Conduct meetings during facility inspections to review findings and discuss corrective-action plans.
• Analyze exit-conference deficiencies and offer additional information as needed.
• Aid in the development of plans for correction, including timelines and monitoring strategies.
• Manage and oversee various levels of employees, including hiring, training, budgeting, performance evaluations, rewards, discipline, complaint resolution, problem-solving, and terminations.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university, or equivalent experience.
• Master’s Degree or MBA is preferred.
• Capability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
• Proficiency in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to present information and answer questions from managers and employees.
• Competence in applying fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to real-world situations.
• Skill in solving practical problems with limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret written, oral, diagrammatic, and schedule instructions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products.
• Must maintain licensing credentials for an Administrator.
• Capability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Prolonged usage of desktop or laptop computers.
• Frequent operation of office equipment including copier/scanner/fax, telephone, and calculator.
