This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Execute and oversee the installation, configuration, upgrades, and complex migrations of Oracle databases, ensuring zero data loss.

• Design and implement robust backup and recovery policies in high availability environments using RMAN, Data Pump, and Data Guard.

• Monitor and fine-tune the performance of critical databases through Oracle Enterprise Manager.

• Address and resolve operational requirements and incidents under 7x24x365 support schemes according to service windows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree completed in Computer Science (certified degree).

• Minimum experience of 1 project within the last 2 years covering jointly: administration, installation, configuration, backup, recovery, upgrade, and migration of Oracle databases in high availability environments (RAC, Stand-by, Data Guard).

• Proficiency in Oracle Database (10g, 11g or higher), RMAN, Data Pump, ETL, and Oracle Enterprise Manager.

• Valid Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Associate (OCA) or higher certification in the DBA track.

• Valid and verifiable online certifications in Scrum and DevOps.
