This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nepal.
β’ Instruct online Graduate Nursing courses within the NP and DNP programs.
β’ Deliver content on advanced health assessment, advanced pathophysiology, advanced pharmacology, advanced practice specialties, clinical modalities, diagnostic reasoning, epidemiology, family nurse practitioner topics, psychopharmacology, and scholarly review.
β’ Utilize practical experience and subject matter expertise in designated course areas.
β’ Foster active student engagement to achieve necessary course and program objectives.
β’ Assume a leadership role in addressing multi-level problem-solving alongside students, Wilkes University administration, and staff.
β’ Build a network of qualified adjunct faculty for future teaching requirements; applicants will be contacted as opportunities arise.
β’ Preference for doctorally prepared candidates (PhD/DNP) for core didactic and NP specialty courses.
β’ Candidates nearing completion of their terminal degree may be considered if they possess substantial relevant clinical and academic experience.
β’ A minimum of two years of current advanced clinical practice experience is required for NP specialty didactic and clinical courses.
β’ Possession of current, unrestricted RN licensure in a compact state is necessary.
β’ Instructors teaching clinical or NP specialty courses must hold or be eligible for Pennsylvania RN/APRN licensure.
β’ Maintain relevant national board certification.
β’ At least 2 years of successful online teaching experience at the graduate level from an accredited university.
β’ Strong communication skills and the ability to lead multi-level problem-solving efforts with students, Wilkes University administration, and staff.
β’ Demonstrated capacity to engage students in active learning to fulfill required course and program outcomes.
β’ Familiarity with learning management systems (LMSs); experience with D2L / Brightspace is preferred.
β’ Submission of a curriculum vitae or resume, cover letter, list of 3 professional references, current unencumbered RN license, APRN license, national board certification as applicable, and degree transcripts is required.
β’ Unofficial transcripts are acceptable for interviews; however, official transcripts must be provided prior to teaching.
