📋 Description

• Instruct online Graduate Nursing courses within the NP and DNP programs.

• Offer practice-oriented expertise in pertinent course topics and specialties.

• Teach courses such as Advanced Health Assessment, Advanced Pathophysiology, Advanced Pharmacology, Advanced Practice Adult-Gerontology I & II, Epidemiology & Environmental Health, FNP: Role Children & Families, and FNP: Clinical Children & Families.

• Facilitate communication and address multi-level problem-solving with students, Wilkes University administration, and staff.

• Promote active learning strategies to achieve course and program objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctoral degree (PhD or DNP) is preferred; MSN-prepared applicants may be considered for specific clinical courses.

• Actively involved in clinical practice.

• Possess a current unencumbered RN license in a compact state.

• At least 1 year of proven online teaching experience at the graduate level from an accredited university.

• Strong communication skills and ability to lead in multi-level problem-solving with students, Wilkes University administration, and staff.

• Demonstrated capability to engage students in active learning to fulfill required course and program outcomes.

• Familiarity with learning management systems (LMSs), with D2L / Brightspace being preferred.
