Adjunct Faculty, Pre-Law

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Implement instructional activities in accordance with university standards.

• Deliver the approved curriculum within the established schedule.

• Provide prompt feedback on assignments and student communications.

• Keep track of and report student grades and attendance.

• Report on course availability using the designated university methods.

• Maintain updated personnel and professional information in university databases.

• Conduct self-assessments.

• Oversee the HSOG Communication Center and the assigned Instructional Mentor’s channel.

• Complete FERPA, Title IX, and other required training by the deadlines.

• Assist in curriculum development and participate in assessment activities as needed.

• Teach foundational pre-law subjects such as torts, property, contracts, criminal and civil procedure, and legal reasoning.

• Enhance students’ skills in logic, critical analysis, ethical decision-making, constitutional law knowledge, and LSAT-oriented analytical thinking.

• Integrate biblical principles with legal studies and examine the connection between faith, law, justice, and public policy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctorate (JD) is required.

• Proven ability in teaching and mentoring at the undergraduate level.

• Strong mentoring and interpersonal skills are essential.

• Excellent organizational skills that support timely and accurate completion of assignments and tasks.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and online Learning Management Systems.

• Dedication to Liberty University’s goals and values.
