Adjunct Faculty – Pediatric Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality instruction in designated courses within the approved academic program curriculum.

• Quickly address information requests from institutional officials, employers, organizations, agencies, foundations, the public, and students.

• Uphold appropriate standards of linguistic expression in both written and oral communications.

• Complete and submit academic program requirements and documentation, including clinical evaluations and competency records, by established deadlines.

• Meet weekly faculty expectations.

• Oversee classroom activities effectively.

• Remain readily available to students for inquiries and support.

• Stay updated on educational and professional literature to adopt best practices related to the courses taught.

• Report directly to the Program Coordinator of the MSN FNP Program.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctoral degree in nursing (DNP or PhD) is required.

• Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse, preferably in the Family Nurse Practice specialty.

• Professional experience in pediatrics is mandatory.

• Online teaching experience is highly preferred.

• Non-FNP faculty with experience teaching at the MSN level may be considered for certain core MSN courses.

• Must possess PA, LA, TN, and GA APRN licenses.
