This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Instruct the Building Sustainable Futures (BMGT 240) course remotely within the Business program.

• Investigate how businesses can attain long-term sustainability through responsible operational practices.

• Analyze the environmental and social ramifications of business operations.

• Conduct assessments of sustainability practices.

• Formulate strategies for a circular economy.

• Enhance operational efficiency.

• Balance profitability with ethical decision-making, stakeholder expectations, and climate resilience.

• Utilize case studies and practical projects to develop actionable sustainability initiatives.

• Foster student engagement through regular interactions.

• Support students in collaborative, problem- and project-based learning experiences.

• Provide ongoing constructive feedback and evaluate student submissions using grading rubrics.

• Exhibit up-to-date subject-matter expertise and link concepts across different academic programs.

• Offer feedback to the program chair regarding potential curricular enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Business or a related discipline from an accredited higher education institution.

• Professional experience in Sustainability, Business Strategy, or related areas.

• Relevant, current, and active industry experience in Business or a closely associated field.

• Experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education is highly preferred.

• Candidates with international degrees may be required to provide a translation or degree evaluation from a NACES member if selected.

• Completion of the online two-week new faculty orientation, FacDev 411, is a prerequisite for hiring.
