This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Instruct The Long 18th-Century British Literature (ENGL 311)
β’ Instruct 19th-Century British Literature (ENGL 312)
β’ Actively motivate students through regular interaction to enhance their success
β’ Facilitate student collaboration and the application of knowledge through problem- and project-based demonstrations
β’ Offer consistent constructive feedback utilizing rubrics and recognize student achievements
β’ Exhibit expertise in the subject matter and link concepts across various academic programs
β’ Provide insights to the program chair regarding potential curricular enhancements
β’ Terminal degree in English Literature, Humanities, or a related discipline from an accredited institution
β’ Professional background in ethics education or a similar field
β’ Experience in teaching adult learners online in higher education is strongly preferred
β’ Resume/Curriculum Vitae
β’ Cover letter is highly preferred
β’ Candidates with international degrees may need to provide a translation/degree evaluation from a NACES approved vendor
β’ Successful completion of the online two-week new faculty orientation, FacDev 411, is a condition of employment
