Adjunct Faculty, 18th & 19th-Century British Literature

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Instruct The Long 18th-Century British Literature (ENGL 311)

• Instruct 19th-Century British Literature (ENGL 312)

• Actively motivate students through regular interaction to enhance their success

• Facilitate student collaboration and the application of knowledge through problem- and project-based demonstrations

• Offer consistent constructive feedback utilizing rubrics and recognize student achievements

• Exhibit expertise in the subject matter and link concepts across various academic programs

• Provide insights to the program chair regarding potential curricular enhancements

⛳️ Requirements

• Terminal degree in English Literature, Humanities, or a related discipline from an accredited institution

• Professional background in ethics education or a similar field

• Experience in teaching adult learners online in higher education is strongly preferred

• Resume/Curriculum Vitae

• Cover letter is highly preferred

• Candidates with international degrees may need to provide a translation/degree evaluation from a NACES approved vendor

• Successful completion of the online two-week new faculty orientation, FacDev 411, is a condition of employment
