This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Perform intake evaluations to assess Member readiness and identify the suitable level of care.
• Lead group and individual counseling sessions utilizing Affect’s evidence-based curriculum.
• Offer crisis support and organize appropriate referrals when necessary.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Work in partnership with clinical supervisors on personalized treatment and discharge planning.
• Guarantee compliance with HIPAA regulations and all pertinent state laws.
• Possess an active and verifiable Virginia counseling license: LMFT, LPC, LCSW, LSATP, or LPC Resident; credentials must be validated through the State Board’s website.
• Hold an active and verifiable counseling license in the state of residence if not based in Virginia.
• Competent in Microsoft Office or Google Suite, EMR systems, and telehealth platforms.
• Committed to assisting individuals in recovery and fostering therapeutic relationships.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, mission-driven startup environment.
