ADAS Test Driver, Operator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Execute driving services on vehicles in accordance with customer specifications

• Operate and drive vehicles along established routes, varying terrains, and under diverse weather conditions

• Adhere to traffic regulations, safety protocols, and the company's driving policies

• Assess and monitor ADAS performance during practical driving scenarios

• Provide and document user-level insights on ADAS usability, effectiveness, and driver experience

• Maintain alertness when ADAS features are engaged and intervene when necessary

• Communicate with fellow drivers or operators while operating the vehicle

• Oversee onboard data collection systems

• Ensure that sensors, cameras, and recording equipment are functioning correctly

• Record test runs, environmental conditions, incidents, and observations in real-time

• Upload, organize, categorize, and perform quality checks on the collected data

• Identify data anomalies and system issues for technical assessment

• Inspect the vehicle prior to and following shifts

• Manage data acquisition systems and apply tagging techniques to objects, obstacles, and anomalies

• Follow the instructions provided by the project manager

• Conduct daily and as-needed reporting for the program manager

• Maintain the confidentiality of documentation

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma

• 5 years of licensed driving experience

• Valid driver's license

• Clean driving record for a minimum of 7 years

• Experience with ADAS features is highly preferred

• Practical knowledge of how to activate, deactivate, and operate standard ADAS features

• Familiarity with typical ADAS user interfaces, controls, and warning signals

• Proficient in computer and data management software

• Physically capable of supporting test preparation and execution in outdoor settings

• Flexible schedule with availability for extended hours and weekends

• Compliance with workplace health and safety standards and practices

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Capable of driving passenger vehicles for up to 8 hours a day
