This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Act as the main administrator for Workday Adaptive Planning and serve as the internal expert in the subject.
• Oversee and improve the architecture of the Adaptive Planning model, which includes dimensions, levels, attributes, versions, sheets, formulas, and calculated accounts.
• Handle system security, user access management, permissions, and license administration.
• Create, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations and data transfers between Adaptive Planning and source systems.
• Manage budget, forecast, and actual version administration, rollovers, planning calendars, and period locks.
• Identify and implement enhancements driven by AI, automation, and emerging technologies for improved planning, forecasting, reporting, and operational efficiency.
• Design, test, and implement system enhancements and model modifications while adhering to change management and testing protocols.
• Conduct audits, reconciliations, and validation tasks to ensure data integrity.
• Deliver training, documentation, and continuous support to budget owners, business partners, and FP&A users.
• Convert business requirements into scalable planning and reporting solutions in collaboration with FP&A leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Assist in annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-term financial planning initiatives.
• Assess new functionalities in Workday Adaptive Planning and suggest improvements.
• Develop and sustain management reporting packages, dashboards, scorecards, and OfficeConnect reports.
• Research, analyze, and document findings while providing recommendations to management.
• Evaluate financial and operational data to uncover opportunities, risks, and trends.
• Engage in special projects and other assigned responsibilities.
• In-depth knowledge of Workday Adaptive Planning administration, model design, and reporting functionalities.
• Strong comprehension of FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Capability to manage projects and achieve results independently with moderate oversight.
• Proficient in advanced Excel and financial systems.
• Experience with OfficeConnect reporting and dashboard creation.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite or similar enterprise platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the skill to interpret large data sets.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to convert business needs into system and process solutions.
• Competence in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
• Proven track record in identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing scalable solutions.
• Understanding of AI, automation, and business intelligence tools and their application in FP&A, reporting, and analytics settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent business experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in Workday Adaptive Planning administration and model building.
• Familiarity with Adaptive Planning reporting tools and OfficeConnect.
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
• Workday Adaptive Planning Certification is preferred.
• Travel may be required up to 10%.
