Acute Care Pediatric Registered Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Provide thorough, professional, and proactive virtual acute care for medically complex pediatric patients.

• Utilize clinical knowledge and expertise in triaging and nursing assessments to ensure safe patient care through telehealth platforms.

• Implement systematic clinical triage protocols to determine patient disposition for acute illnesses, which includes calling 911, referring to ED/ER, arranging provider or nurse visits, and offering home care advice.

• Navigate and manage multiple software platforms concurrently, including EMR, telehealth portals, triage protocol systems, Microsoft products, and communication tools, while delivering real-time patient care.

• Provide patient- and family-centered care throughout all interactions.

• Exhibit cultural competence and sensitivity when engaging with culturally diverse populations.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and family members to plan and execute care.

• Support organizational objectives and uphold professional standards in alignment with Imagine Pediatrics’ mission, vision, and values.

• Carry out additional duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited university is required.

• Multistate Compact Licensed RN is required.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in pediatric nursing is required.

• 1-2 years of experience in a Pediatric ED/Urgent Care setting is preferred.

• Experience in virtual care is preferred.

• Availability for 3x12s, 12-hour shifts: 5:00 am-5:00 pm, 7:00 am-7:00 pm, 11:00 am-11:00 pm, and 7:00 pm-7:00 am.

• Multistate compact license is required.
