📋 Description

• Collaborate in the development, design, and testing of data sets provided through Actuarial data marts.

• Assist with the monthly updates of data, validations, and quality assurance checks for financial reporting purposes.

• Create decision support solutions, which encompass medical and pharmacy claim financial data constructions, data extracts, reports, data mart tables, views, and analyses.

• Support various data application areas, including defining data, its usage and file structure, SQL code technical structure, business rules, and system requirements.

• Recognize, convey, and implement best practices within the department.

• Examine data, system issues, and incidents; devise and execute recommendations and solutions.

• Communicate related actions, business impacts, and outcomes.

• Offer data support to senior team members in business project teams and non-project activities.

• Conduct unit testing and generate sample data sets to validate SQL code and logic.

• Provide analytical and ad hoc support for departmental, divisional, and corporate initiatives.

• Draft system and technical specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (if required), or 5+ years of experience in a relevant field in lieu of a degree.

• 3+ years of experience in related fields.

• 3+ years of SQL Analysis/Development experience.

• Familiarity with medical and pharmacy claims and/or rebates data.

• Experience in healthcare data analytics, including work with Government and Commercial lines of business.

• Proficiency with Snowflake and AWS cloud environments.

• Understanding of application management, business requirements analysis, requirements gathering, SDLC, software requirements analysis, solution requirements, system testing, technical requirements, and unit testing.
