πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Develop actionable insights for management informed by thorough analysis.

β€’ Generate profitability reports for relevant business segments.

β€’ Conduct regular and ad-hoc analyses to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing efficiency and affordability.

β€’ Assess assumptions utilized in various processes through consistent and special analyses and studies.

β€’ Collaborate in cross-functional teams to tackle significant organizational challenges.

β€’ Prepare the monthly IBNR reserve calculations for the company.

β€’ Review the government reimbursement process to uncover risks and opportunities.

β€’ Engage in initiatives aimed at improving operational results.

β€’ Initiate analyses to enhance overall MLR outcomes.

β€’ Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, or a related field is mandatory.

β€’ Preferred experience with strong database skills (SAS or Access).

β€’ Experience in Managed Care or healthcare is advantageous.

β€’ Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

β€’ Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

β€’ Basic understanding of SQL, SAS, R, or other data manipulation software is beneficial.

β€’ At least one exam passed under the Society of Actuaries Exam Syllabus is mandatory; the SRM exam via transition credit does not satisfy this requirement.

β€’ Active pursuit of an actuarial designation (ASA) is required.

β€’ Intermediate interpersonal and verbal communication skills coupled with professionalism.

β€’ Intermediate written communication abilities.

β€’ Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.

β€’ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

β€’ Skill in maintaining composure under pressure.

β€’ Competence in presenting information and addressing inquiries from peers and management.

β€’ Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting financial data.

β€’ Strong problem-solving, listening, and critical-thinking abilities.
