This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Craft and implement strategies for customer acquisition utilizing Direct Mail, Email, and SMS channels.
• Take charge of audience segmentation, channel planning, creative and messaging direction, prioritization of offers, campaign scheduling, and performance enhancement.
• Create and oversee integrated acquisition campaign schedules and testing strategies, which include A/B and multivariate testing.
• Spearhead acquisition campaigns from the strategic phase through to launch and optimization.
• Oversee budgets for acquisition channels, including forecasting and tracking spending.
• Evaluate campaign, customer, and channel performance to uncover trends, opportunities, and areas for enhancement.
• Collaborate with Analytics, Creative, Product, Marketing Strategy, and other cross-functional teams.
• Set up and uphold frameworks for reporting and measuring campaign performance.
• Present insights, performance metrics, testing outcomes, and strategic recommendations to marketing leadership and stakeholders.
• Cultivate relationships with external agencies, print and fulfillment vendors, and other partners.
• Keep abreast of trends in acquisition marketing, emerging technologies, channel capabilities, and industry best practices.
• Ensure campaigns adhere to CAN-SPAM, TCPA, internal legal, privacy, and brand standards.
• Execute other responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a comparable field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• A minimum of 5 years in acquisition, performance, direct response, lifecycle, or related marketing fields.
• Proven experience with direct management of at least two acquisition channels, such as Direct Mail, Email, or SMS.
• Demonstrated ability to manage campaign budgets, forecasting, performance evaluation, and optimization.
• Experience in developing and assessing A/B and multivariate tests and translating results into actionable insights.
• In-depth knowledge of performance and acquisition marketing, customer segmentation, targeting, campaign optimization, and direct response marketing principles.
• Proficient with email service platforms and marketing automation tools like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with Direct Mail production processes, including list management, coordinating with print vendors, fulfillment, and postal logistics.
• Understanding of Email and SMS marketing regulations, including CAN-SPAM, TCPA, consent management, and opt-in/opt-out practices.
• Awareness of CRM platforms, customer data platforms (CDPs), and data-driven audience segmentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a knack for interpreting campaign and customer data to identify performance drivers and measure marketing effectiveness and ROI.
• Solid financial acumen and a comprehension of acquisition metrics, including CPA, ROAS, response rates, and conversion rates.
• Excellent campaign planning, project management, and organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the capacity to convert complex campaign data into clear business insights and recommendations.
• Ability to influence and work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners.
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to the quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance of campaigns.
• Experience in telecommunications, financial services, retail, insurance, or another direct response-focused industry is preferred.
• Previous experience managing external agencies, print vendors, fulfillment partners, or other marketing service providers is preferred.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar enterprise marketing technology platforms is preferred.
• Exposure to digital acquisition channels, such as paid search, display, paid social, or affiliate marketing is preferred.
• Understanding of cross-channel measurement, attribution, and customer journey optimization is preferred.
• Occasional travel may be necessary, estimated at up to 10% of the time.
