This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Generate bi-weekly and monthly invoices and returns for designated lines of business, including necessary invoice adjustments.

• Review and audit bi-weekly and monthly timecards to ensure precise invoicing.

• Analyze and interpret client contracts to validate billing requirements and guarantee invoice accuracy.

• Develop and maintain billing templates for the assigned lines of business.

• Address customer inquiries via phone and email, resolve billing discrepancies, and deliver dependable customer service.

• Conduct collection activities through phone and email follow-up, which includes requesting payment status and producing monthly statements.

• Reconcile customer accounts with the General Ledger.

• Assist in supporting monthly and year-end closing processes.

• Collaborate with finance team members and cross-functional partners.

• Provide assistance with training, process enhancements, and special projects as necessary.

• Communicate with sales, business unit leaders, IT, legal, finance, executive leadership, customers, accounts payable departments, and third-party payers.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Proficiency in Microsoft applications.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to engage and cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

• Capability to swiftly adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Keen attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while remaining connected and accountable to the team.

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, Accounts Receivable, or Billing is advantageous.

• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, is a plus.

• Familiarity with general accounting and accounts receivable practices is beneficial.

• Experience in a high-volume billing or accounting environment is a plus.

• Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills are advantageous.

• An adaptable, positive, and can-do attitude is preferred.
