Accounts Receivable Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily Accounts Receivable operations for the APAC and EMEA regions, which includes invoicing, collections, cash application, dispute resolution, and reconciling customer accounts.

• Guarantee precise and prompt billing by validating supporting documentation and addressing discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams.

• Act as a primary contact for customer billing questions from clients in the APAC and EMEA regions.

• Manage AR sub-ledgers by monitoring payments, investigating discrepancies, and resolving unapplied cash or adjustments.

• Participate in month-end closing activities, which encompass reconciliations, journal entries, and AR reporting.

• Assist with audit and compliance inquiries by organizing and maintaining necessary documentation and records.

• Contribute to process improvement and automation efforts to enhance AR operations.

• Report directly to Heidi’s Accounts Receivable Operations Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Between 4 to 7 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, ideally within a technology or SaaS setting.

• Strong analytical abilities and a meticulous attention to detail.

• Capability to analyze data and pinpoint opportunities for process enhancement.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Confidence in engaging with internal teams and external customers across various time zones.

• Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while juggling multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Proven track record of resolving billing issues and optimizing receivables processes.

• Flexibility to occasionally adjust working hours to align with EMEA business operations for important meetings or deadlines.

• Competence to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.

• CPA certification is a plus but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with AR automation tools, billing platforms, or workflow systems is an advantage.

• Previous experience supporting teams and customers in the APAC/EMEA regions is beneficial.

• Must be based in the Philippines.

• Ability to work according to the Australian timezone schedule.
