Accounts Receivable Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Generate precise and timely invoices and statements.

• Ensure invoices are complete and comply with company policies and regulatory standards.

• Maintain well-organized records of invoices and supporting documents.

• Develop and execute collection strategies to reduce outstanding debts.

• Follow up with customers regarding overdue payments, resolve disputes, and negotiate payment plans.

• Monitor accounts receivable aging and take necessary actions.

• Accurately apply customer payments and reconcile discrepancies between payments and invoices.

• Evaluate customer creditworthiness, establishing and monitoring credit limits and terms.

• Suggest adjustments to credit policies based on payment history and financial stability.

• Foster customer relationships while providing prompt responses to inquiries and concerns.

• Prepare and analyze aging reports, cash flow forecasts, and collections performance metrics.

• Present insights and recommendations to senior management.

• Review and optimize accounts receivable processes while implementing best practices.

• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, company policies, and applicable laws and regulations.

• Assist with audits and supply necessary documentation as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience in accounts receivable management or a similar financial position.

• Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial analysis.

• Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.

• Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.

• Keen attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to analyze accounts receivable data, including aging reports and cash flow forecasts.

• Familiarity with financial management tools and relevant software applications.

• Knowledge of applicable accounting and collections laws and regulations.

• Ability to manage a high-volume workload while meeting tight deadlines.
