Accounts Receivable, Billing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Manage the complete invoicing process, cash collections, and precise cash application for multi-currency international customer accounts.

• Reconcile aged receivables, sub-ledgers, and unapplied cash across various international entities.

• Perform month-end bank reconciliations for accounts in USD, EUR, and GBP.

• Address foreign exchange variances and discrepancies in transaction fees.

• Collaborate with corporate accounting to meet monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing schedules.

• Review the order-to-cash processes, pinpoint manual inefficiencies or control risks, and implement lean automation in Sage Intacct.

• Assist Accounts Payable with multi-currency vendor processing, purchase order matching, and expense workflows.

• Enhance global collection processes to decrease Days Sales Outstanding and improve working capital.

• Establish regular communication with international accounts.

• Evolve the international accounts receivable function into an automated, scalable operation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in an international accounting setting.

• Proficiency in managing multi-entity and multi-currency transactions, specifically in USD, EUR, and GBP.

• Hands-on expertise with Sage Intacct.

• Experience in executing comprehensive month-end bank reconciliations.

• Capability to resolve foreign exchange variances effectively.

• Experience reconciling complex aged-debtor sub-ledgers.

• Proven track record in identifying manual inefficiencies and contributing to the development of automated financial workflows.

• Familiarity with subscription billing software ecosystems, deferred revenue models, or adjustments related to recurring mid-term contracts.

• Exposure to Accounts Payable verification processes, purchase order matching workflows, or fixed asset entries.

• Ability to engage with international accounts and collaborate with global finance teams.
