Accounts Receivable Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Prepare reconciliations for balance sheet accounts, such as cash, accounts receivable, prepaid expenses, accrued items, and intercompany accounts.

• Reconcile customer invoices with operating and accounting system data, collaborating directly with customers to resolve any issues.

• Assist in upholding policies and procedures pertaining to collections and accounts receivable.

• Coordinate with both internal and external parties as necessary to address matters related to accounts receivable.

• Reconcile company bank accounts in relation to accounts receivable transactions.

• Provide support to accounting team members in areas of revenue management, accounts receivable reconciliation, and other accounting functions.

• Assist finance and other departments with ad hoc research, analysis, and reporting projects.

• Support the monthly financial closing process, including the preparation of accounts receivable-related entries and reports.

• Aid in the training of new support staff, as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

• A minimum of 4–5 years of experience as an accountant.

• Availability to work full USA hour shifts in EST, CST, or PST time zones.

• Proficient in both written and spoken English.

• A reliable high-speed Wi-Fi connection at home.

• Must not have experienced disciplinary actions concerning attendance, conduct, or performance in the past 90 days and should not be nearing such actions.

• Familiarity with GAAP accounting standards is advantageous.

• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail and precision.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.

• High level of organizational skills and time management.

• Proactive and self-driven approach to tasks and challenges.

• Experience with Google Workspace products.

• Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and Microsoft products, including Power BI for reporting and data visualization.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks or other accounting software.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.

• Background in data processing.

• Ability to work with multiple systems and data sources.
