This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Manage and process supplier invoices while overseeing end-to-end accounts payable transactions.
• Generate and issue customer invoices, assisting with accounts receivable operations.
• Execute full payroll processing in compliance with applicable awards, employment agreements, and statutory obligations, including PAYG and superannuation.
• Handle employee expense reimbursements in line with company policies.
• Record, review, and reconcile corporate credit card transactions.
• Process daily bank transactions and conduct regular bank reconciliations.
• Maintain master data for suppliers, customers, and employees within finance and payroll systems.
• Oversee the timesheet system, including its setup, maintenance, and user support.
• Follow up with staff regarding outstanding timesheets.
• Assist in month-end closing activities, reconciliations, and the preparation of supporting schedules.
• Facilitate financial and management reporting through precise data preparation.
• Keep financial and payroll records organized and support audit and compliance inquiries.
• Communicate with internal staff about invoices, expenses, timesheets, and payroll issues.
• Collaborate with accounting, payroll, banking, expense management, and timesheet systems.
• Comply with internal controls, payroll legislation, policies, and established procedures.
• Meet recurring deadlines, especially concerning payroll cycles and month-end closing.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in an Accounts Officer, Payroll Officer, or related transactional finance role.
• Practical experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.
• Familiarity with payroll legislation, superannuation, and PAYG requirements.
• Experience with accounting and payroll software such as MYOB AccountRight, Xero, KeyPay, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
• Advanced skills in Excel and confidence in working with financial and payroll data.
• Exceptional attention to detail and high levels of data accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Experience dealing with multiple entities in a group is a plus.
• Highly organized, dependable, and methodical in approach.
• Strong sense of accountability, confidentiality, and integrity.
• Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A collaborative, service-oriented team player.
• Proactive, discreet, and comfortable handling sensitive payroll information.
• Ability to work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
