Accounts Payable Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Record business transactions and handle invoice processing

• Confirm financial data for accounts payable documentation

• Offer clerical assistance to meet association financial obligations

• Keep track of outstanding payables

• Ensure accuracy of financial documents for payment, auditing, and tax purposes

• Oversee timely vendor payments and avoid accidental overpayments

• Examine suspicious invoice items, pricing, or signatures

• Compile and evaluate invoices for payment

• Maintain files for invoices and correspondence

• Generate periodic reports and records

• Acquire necessary payment information and approvals

• Review vendor files for prior payments and assign voucher numbers

• Ensure vendor insurance coverage is current and request updates

• Conduct daily bookkeeping and record maintenance

• Monitor payments and expenses, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, and statements

• Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports with balances

• Preserve historical records

• Set up new HOA utilities and vendors

• Prepare account analyses and monthly reports

• Enhance the payment process

• Train boards on approving invoices through the portal

• Build relationships with community Board contacts and communicate via phone, email, or in person

• Collaborate within the accounting department and cross-train or provide coverage for absent team members

• Complete additional projects as assigned by the supervisor

• This position is full-time

• Compensation ranges from $6 to $7 per hour based on experience

• 100% Remote work environment
