Accounts Payable Clerk

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Accurately process supplier invoices within the designated timelines

• Match invoices with purchase orders and address any discrepancies

• Reconcile supplier statements with the ledger

• Prepare payment runs for managerial approval

• Address supplier inquiries regarding payment statuses

• Ensure timely and precise supplier payments for a UK finance team

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Sage or Xero

• Background in processing invoices in an accounts payable position

• Exceptional attention to detail with numerical data

• Reliable home internet connection and a quiet environment for UK-hours work

• Ability to reconcile accounts with supplier statements

• Experience with multi-currency invoicing (preferred)

• Knowledge of purchase order systems (preferred)

• Prior experience in remote finance support (preferred)
