This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Conduct daily verification, reconciliation, and processing of checks, EFTs, and IACH transactions.
• Assess and manage daily Positive Pay exceptions across all active banking partners.
• Handle inquiries related to payables, including stop payments, voids, reissues, correction vouchers, and requests for check copies.
• Serve as the operational intermediary between Accounts Payable and Corporate Treasury regarding banking issues and escalations.
• Analyze payment and banking data to identify trends or discrepancies and propose actionable solutions.
• Complete time-sensitive banking requests and deliverables in accordance with established service level agreements (SLAs).
• Ensure that disbursement activities align with business policies, payment guidelines, and fiduciary controls.
• Collaborate with offshore Accounts Payable teams and leadership on invoice processing and workflow routing.
• Perform additional assigned tasks as needed.
• A High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounts payable is required.
• Familiarity with basic accounts payable controls, reconciliation processes, and payment support is essential.
• Experience with large ERP systems is necessary.
• Proficiency in SAP is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail is crucial.
• Excellent analytical skills and proven problem-solving capabilities are required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• A positive attitude with the ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt to change is important.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening is necessary.
