This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.
• Receive, assess, upload, and accurately categorize vendor invoices in Bill.com, ensuring that all supporting documentation is included and approval workflows are adhered to.
• Process vendor bills, employee corporate card expenses, and payables related to inventory.
• Execute 3-way matching for inventory invoices and reconcile expense submissions.
• Maintain and audit vendor records in Bill.com and NetSuite, which includes payment terms, GL coding, and digital documentation.
• Oversee approval queues and follow up on pending approvals within SLA timelines.
• Report any discrepancies, duplicate invoices, or missing information to the Accounting Manager.
• Prepare and distribute accounts payable aging reports.
• Assist with support during the month-end closing process.
• Reconcile vendor statements and manage prepaid schedules for review by the U.S. Accounting team.
• Engage in cross-training initiatives and adhere to SOP documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Adhere to data security and confidentiality policies.
• Collaborate closely with a U.S.-based Accounting Manager and internal stakeholders across different time zones.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
• Practical experience with Bill.com or similar platforms, including bill entry, coding, approval routing, and reporting.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or comparable ERP systems.
• Advanced skills in Excel, including the use of lookup functions, pivot tables, and filters.
• A solid understanding of accrual accounting concepts and accounts payable processes, including 3-way matching, aging reports, and prepaid tracking.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace tools such as Docs and Sheets.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Capability to work independently in a remote setting while effectively collaborating with U.S.-based teams across various time zones.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
