This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish trustworthy relationships with athletic departments, conferences, collegiate venues, campus safety leaders, and university decision-makers.
• Identify universities and conferences with high potential, create executive relationships, generate a pipeline, and lead complex opportunities from initial outreach to closure.
• Gain a thorough understanding of Evolv’s solutions, customer value propositions, sales methodology, CRM expectations, and use cases in collegiate athletics.
• Learn about how athletic departments and universities manage venue operations, enhance fan experience, ensure campus safety, and make procurement, budgeting, and technology decisions.
• Identify priority conferences, universities, venues, and strategic relationships within your designated territory.
• Create stakeholder maps that include athletic directors, facilities and event operations leaders, campus safety professionals, procurement teams, finance and legal partners, and executive sponsors.
• Develop and implement a focused territory and account plan for the collegiate athletics market.
• Build a qualified pipeline through targeted outreach, industry relationships, referrals, executive networking, events, partners, and account-based campaigns.
• Lead discovery conversations centered on venue operations, entry processes, fan experience, safety objectives, event calendars, procurement requirements, and budget cycles.
• Cultivate internal champions and map decision-making processes within priority accounts.
• Utilize demonstrations, customer examples, operational insights, and business cases to progress opportunities.
• Design and execute strategic sales plans for assigned collegiate athletics accounts and territories.
• Oversee the entire new-business sales process from account identification and relationship development to discovery, demonstration, business case creation, proposal, negotiation, and closure.
• Assist prospective customers in defining requirements, quantifying potential value, and assessing Evolv’s solutions.
• Navigate complex buying committees and align stakeholders with varying priorities.
• Create account plans, stakeholder maps, close plans, and mutual action plans.
• Collaborate with Marketing on targeted campaigns, events, thought leadership, and market-development initiatives.
• Partner with Product, Customer Success, Legal, Finance, and implementation teams from initial engagement through launch.
• Represent Evolv at collegiate athletics, venue management, sports business, safety, security, and higher education events.
• Maintain accurate opportunity data, next steps, forecasts, and customer insights in Salesforce.
• Share market intelligence to refine Evolv’s strategy and enhance its collegiate athletics presence.
• Meet or exceed territory revenue expectations, advance and close complex opportunities, and uphold pricing integrity, CRM discipline, and forecast accuracy.
• Report to the Vice President of Sports and Entertainment.
• Proven experience in new-business sales, business development, corporate partnerships, strategic accounts, or another revenue-generating role.
• Demonstrated capability to build a pipeline and transform relationships into quantifiable business opportunities.
• Experience managing complex sales cycles that involve multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and formal procurement processes.
• Ability to communicate credibly with both operational teams and senior executives.
• Strong skills in discovery, presentation, negotiation, business writing, and storytelling.
• Experience in developing territory plans, account strategies, stakeholder maps, and close plans.
• Strong CRM discipline and comfort in being accountable for pipeline quality, next steps, and forecast accuracy.
• Independence and resourcefulness to operate effectively in a remote, high-growth environment.
• Collaborative mindset to engage the right internal partners at the appropriate time.

• Relevant experience may include collegiate athletics, conferences, multimedia rights, sponsorships, ticketing, premium seating, corporate partnerships, sports and entertainment venues, live events, facilities, guest experience, higher education, campus-wide technology solutions, safety, security, venue operations, or public-safety technology.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% to 80% of the time.
• Flexibility to attend games, events, demonstrations, industry gatherings, and customer meetings during some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to travel efficiently throughout the territory; preference for candidates located near Atlanta or a major airport.
