Accounting Manager, Global Entities – Intercompany

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the intercompany framework across Paxos entities, which includes managing agreements, transfer pricing calculations, true-ups, invoicing, settlement, and netting.

• Act as the primary contact for the accounting team regarding statutory audits and regulatory examinations across various jurisdictions.

• Oversee PBC request lists, coordinate responses, monitor outstanding items, and facilitate debriefs and follow-up enhancements.

• Manage tax compliance support in collaboration with tax advisors and the internal tax lead.

• Collect support, maintain filing calendars, and reconcile intercompany and entity data against filed information.

• Supervise relationships with in-country accounting partners and outsourced service providers.

• Ensure that local statutory reports are reconciled with US GAAP and submitted punctually.

• Lead or assist in entity restructurings, establishing new entities, functional-currency modifications, and integrating acquired businesses into ERP/reporting systems.

• Create and maintain ownership maps, calendars, trackers, and process documentation.

• Convert accounting, tax, and regulatory details into updates and recommendations for Finance leadership and cross-functional teams.

• Identify gaps in processes, controls, and documentation, driving scalable improvements.

• Enhance knowledge of blockchain technology, enterprise cryptocurrency, and Paxos' regulation-first strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 6 years of combined experience in public accounting and in-house accounting.

• Significant experience within a multinational or multi-entity organization.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.

• CPA (or equivalent) certification.

• Strong understanding of US GAAP.

• Familiarity with the differences between US GAAP and local statutory reporting.

• Practical experience with intercompany accounting and transfer pricing.

• Experience in coordinating statutory audits, regulatory examinations, and/or tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

• Proven ability to manage external auditors and advisors to meet deadlines.

• Outstanding organization and program-management capabilities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across diverse cultures, countries, and time zones.

• Proficient in NetSuite or a similar multi-entity, multi-currency ERP system.

• Comfortable utilizing AI tools to draft, summarize, and organize work.

• Nice to have: experience in financial services or other regulated industries.

• Nice to have: familiarity with affiliate-transaction rules or regulatory capital requirements.

• Nice to have: experience with entity restructurings or changes in functional currency.
