Accounting Manager – Financial Products, Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the preparation, review, and analysis of intricate journal entries, account reconciliations, and schedules.

• Interpret and implement accounting guidelines for new or unique transactions, documenting conclusions for audit support.

• Manage month-end and quarter-end closing activities.

• Identify the root causes of variances, resolve discrepancies, and suggest process enhancements.

• Create and maintain standard operating procedures, controls, and process documentation.

• Work collaboratively with Finance, Tax, Treasury, and business partners to provide accounting insights and support general ledger initiatives.

• Analyze trends and drivers within accounts and prepare management summaries.

• Assist in system and process modifications by defining accounting requirements, testing results, and ensuring data integrity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Over 8 years of professional accounting experience in corporate accounting, public accounting, or a similar finance role.

• Active CPA license is highly preferred.

• Strong foundation in public accounting with robust technical accounting expertise.

• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Google Gemini in accounting and/or finance settings.

• Experience in executing and reviewing complex reconciliations, period-end closing tasks, and variance analysis in a high-volume or multi-entity context.

• Proficient in modern ERP or financial systems and spreadsheet applications.

• Previous experience in public accounting as an auditor is advantageous.

• A combination of education and experience equivalent to the above requirements is acceptable.
