Accounting Manager, E-Commerce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the month-end closing process for FinanceWithin clients.

• Collaborate with clients as a consultant to ensure their success.

• Compile monthly financial packets and deliver financial statements to clients.

• Supervise month-end closing and accounting operations.

• Distribute financial management reports, monthly financial statements, annual audits, and yearly budgets.

• Forecast and update cash flow, communicating the cash position to clients.

• Prepare financial packages, including margin recognition and transaction reconciliation/recording.

• Manage inventory, reconciliations, accruals, samples, adjustments, obsolescence, and purchase orders.

• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, PayPal, Stripe, and other payment platforms.

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain amortization schedules.

• Handle accounts receivable, accounts payable, AR aging reports, and AP in Bill.com or similar software.

• Administer client payroll.

• Assist FinanceWithin management by providing accounting consulting.

• Conduct general ledger accounting, financial analysis, financial reporting, profitability analysis, and special projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in full cycle accounting.

• At least 2 years of experience in a multi-client or consulting role.

• Proficient in QBO and Xero.

• Experience with e-commerce platforms is highly advantageous (e.g., Shopify, PayPal, Bill.com).

• Strong understanding of accounting principles.

• Exceptional analytical and communication abilities.

• Proactive and team-oriented mindset.

• Must be located in the United States.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
