Accounting Manager – Accounts Payable

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Review, code, and process incoming invoices as part of the accounts payable function.

• Examine and record travel expenses and reimbursements.

• Reconcile and accurately document credit card transactions.

• Post and reconcile bank transactions in relation to bank accounting.

• Actively participate in digitalization initiatives.

• Generate ideas and assist in replacing manual processes with intelligent, scalable solutions.

• Assume responsibility for daily accounts payable operations and aid in enhancing finance processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successfully completed training as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellte:r) or equivalent commercial qualification.

• 1–5 years of relevant experience in accounting or accounts payable.

• Strong knowledge of DATEV software.

• Good comprehension of tax fundamentals.

• Solid foundation in accounting principles.

• Interest in IT and digital tools.

• Experience with MOSS is an advantage.

• Proficient German communication skills at C1 level.

• English communication abilities at a minimum of B2 level.

• Organized, meticulous, and independent work style.

• Capability to actively contribute to enhancements and digital processes.

• Solution-focused mindset.

• Team-oriented approach with clear, direct, and respectful communication.

• Must possess the legal right to reside and work in Germany.
