Accounting Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop precise, task-oriented grading standards for real-world accounting outputs, encompassing reconciliations, close packages, financial statements and disclosures, workpapers, and technical accounting memoranda.

• Assess AI-generated and human-generated work samples against these established criteria.

• Deliver comprehensive written explanations for each score provided.

• Utilize consistent, evidence-based evaluation to ensure scores are reproducible and defensible.

• Integrate structured feedback from senior reviewers and adapt rapidly.

• Assess the performance of AI systems in executing real-world accounting tasks.

• Collaborate with top AI researchers on the training and enhancement of AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional accounting experience.

• Experience in audit, assurance, or advisory roles at prominent global accounting firms or in senior accounting positions at large public companies.

• CPA or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.

• Extensive knowledge of US GAAP application.

• Familiarity with month-end close processes.

• Experience in account reconciliations.

• Proficient in financial statement preparation and disclosures.

• Skilled in producing audit-ready workpapers.

• Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to articulate whether work meets professional standards.

• Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable having judgments reviewed and calibrated against peers.

• Prior experience with AI training, evaluation, or human-data projects is a significant advantage.

• Qualified candidates may be required to complete a short technical assessment or provide additional information.

• Must be capable of working as an independent contractor.

• H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not eligible.
