Accounting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive accounting operations and the month-end closing process, which includes revenue recognition, accounts payable, fixed assets and capital expenditures, payroll, and cash management.

• Create and implement AI-driven workflows and tools, including agents and process flows, to reduce manual tasks.

• Utilize ERP automation along with related tools such as accounts payable automation and close management software.

• Propel improvements in accounting processes across various entities to enhance efficiency and scalability.

• Establish scalable internal controls and uphold a SOX-compliant control framework.

• Oversee and enhance the company's financial reporting.

• Examine financial data and provide accounting insights to leadership.

• Collaborate with FP&A, Strategic Finance, Sales, and other business partners on financial analyses, insights, and budget formulation.

• Deliver Budget vs. Actual (BvA) analyses, insights, and suggested process enhancements to stakeholders.

• Assist with the annual audit and tax compliance; coordinate with external auditors and manage PBC requests, timelines, and technical accounting issues.

• Support accounting KPIs and performance monitoring.

• Stay updated on relevant accounting pronouncements and implement necessary changes to financial reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of an active CPA license.

• Experience in a public accounting firm is essential (Big 4 or large regional firm); audit experience is highly preferred.

• Required accounting experience within the industry (corporate/private company) in addition to the public accounting firm background.

• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting and managerial experience.

• Proven experience in building and utilizing AI workflows and agents to streamline daily tasks.
