Accounting Domain Intake – Accounting Engagements

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Complete a written intake about accounting practices, taking approximately 30 minutes.

• Outline daily workflows, time management, and essential responsibilities specific to the role.

• Illustrate how seasoned accountants categorize the field through specialized areas rather than traditional textbook classifications.

• Highlight the often-overlooked or "invisible" elements of accounting tasks.

• Assist in defining the scope of forthcoming accounting projects in collaboration with leading AI laboratories.

• Contribute expertise to initiatives aimed at training and improving AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently practicing or recently active as an accountant.

• Background in public accounting, corporate finance, audit, tax, or advisory services.

• CPA (or equivalent) is preferred; however, extensive domain experience without the credential is also acceptable.

• Must be willing to provide detailed and specific insights regarding the intricacies of accounting work.

• Candidates must not hold an H1-B or STEM OPT status, as Mercor is unable to support these candidates.
