Accounting Director – E-Commerce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement a financial strategy that promotes company growth, profitability, and long-term goals.

• Oversee the organization-wide budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

• Transform financial analysis into actionable insights for the CEO/COO and the senior leadership team.

• Manage daily finance operations, ensuring precise and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

• Oversee cash flow, financial performance, working capital, and funding needs.

• Enhance financial policies, internal controls, and operational procedures.

• Assess capital investments and direct capital allocation decisions.

• Spearhead debt and equity fundraising efforts while maintaining relationships with investors and financial institutions.

• Recognize and reduce financial, regulatory, tax, and operational risks.

• Build, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing finance team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven track record in a CFO, Finance Director, VP of Finance, or similar senior financial leadership position.

• Significant experience in financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.

• Demonstrated achievements in fundraising, capital allocation, financing, or investor relations.

• Strong financial and analytical acumen, with the capability to translate complex financial data into clear business recommendations.

• Familiarity with financial regulations, compliance mandates, tax implications, and internal control systems.

• Experience in leading and developing finance professionals while effectively collaborating with senior executives.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Background in a high-growth startup or rapidly expanding organization.

• Experience in the cosmetics, beauty, consumer products, e-commerce, or a related sector.

• MBA or CPA designation.

• Experience with partnerships, expansion initiatives, acquisitions, or other strategic transactions.
