Accounting Manager – E-Commerce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the month-end closing process for FinanceWithin clients.

• Serve as a consultant for FinanceWithin clients.

• Compile monthly financial packets and present financial statements to clients.

• Supervise month-end closing and accounting operations.

• Distribute precise and timely financial management reports, including monthly financial statements, annual audits, and yearly budgets.

• Forecast and update cash flow, communicating the cash position to clients.

• Develop financial packages that include margin recognition and the reconciliation/recording of sales, deferrals, accruals, returns, discounts, and write-offs.

• Oversee and reconcile inventory, including physical inventory checks, subledger-to-GL reconciliation, accruals, samples, adjustments, obsolescence, and purchase orders.

• Reconcile bank, credit card, PayPal, Stripe, and other payment accounts.

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and manage amortization schedules.

• Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable.

• Manage AR aging reports.

• Administer AP using Bill.com or similar software.

• Manage client payroll.

• Collaborate with FinanceWithin management to support the team.

• Provide clients with advice on accounting-related tasks.

• Ensure general ledger accountability, conduct financial analysis, prepare financial reporting, profitability analysis, and manage special projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in full cycle accounting.

• At least 2 years of experience in a multi-client or consulting environment.

• Proficient in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Xero.

• Experience with e-commerce platforms is a significant advantage (Shopify, PayPal, Bill.com, etc.).

• Strong understanding of accounting principles.

• Exceptional analytical and communication skills.

• Proactive and team-oriented mindset.

• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• Must be located in the United States.
