Accounting Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Manage a portfolio of clients independently, which includes sole proprietors, agricultural enterprises subject to personal or corporate income tax, artisans, and commercial entities.

• Prepare VAT returns, annual financial statements, and comprehensive tax packages.

• Develop balance sheets and present annual accounts to clients in collaboration with the chartered accountant.

• Execute ad hoc assignments, such as dashboards, financial forecasts, performance indicators, and more.

• Prepare personal income tax returns.

• Utilize digital tools to enhance clients’ accounting oversight and administrative organization.

• Contribute to advisory services for business owners.

• Communicate with the agency manager and the assigned chartered accountant regarding the engagement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (three years of higher education) or Master’s degree (five years of higher education) is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable role.

• Experience within a chartered accounting firm is preferred.

• Familiarity with agricultural accounting and taxation would be advantageous.

• Possess curiosity, organizational skills, and a methodical approach.

• Strong interest in utilizing digital tools.

• Capability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
