Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Record and manage purchase invoices along with expense documentation.

• Organize, track, and maintain all supporting accounting documents.

• Prepare monthly accounting provisions and accruals.

• Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts and credit cards.

• Generate monthly expense reports and analyze spending variances.

• Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices and necessary supporting documents.

• Assist with the monthly accounting closing process.

• Aid in tax compliance and provide documentation needed by external accountants.

• Keep accurate and current accounting and financial records.

• Coordinate and track tasks using collaboration platforms like Slack and ClickUp.

• Foster continuous enhancements in accounting and administrative procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in accounting or finance-related positions.

• Practical experience in processing purchase invoices and expense records.

• Experience in preparing accounting accruals and provisions.

• Proficient in performing bank and credit card reconciliations.

• Familiarity with the monthly closing process.

• Basic understanding of tax concepts and compliance (including VAT, withholdings, tax documentation, etc.).

• Strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets.

• Proficient communication skills in English.

• Experience in startups or technology companies is a plus.

• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Odoo, SAP Business One, Tango, Bejerman, Xubio, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar is advantageous.

• Knowledge of collaboration tools like Slack, ClickUp, Asana, or Jira is a plus.
