Accounting Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients independently, encompassing sole proprietors, agricultural businesses liable for personal or corporate income tax, tradespeople, and commercial enterprises.

• Prepare VAT returns, annual financial statements, and tax documentation.

• Create financial statements and present annual accounts to clients in collaboration with the chartered accountant.

• Execute ad hoc projects, which may include dashboards, financial forecasts, performance metrics, and more.

• Prepare personal income tax returns.

• Utilize digital tools to enhance clients' accounting oversight and administrative organization.

• Assist business owners and contribute to a consultative approach.

• Collaborate closely with the agency Manager and the chartered accountant allocated to the engagement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (three years of higher education) or Master's degree (five years of higher education).

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable position.

• Prior experience in an accounting firm is preferred.

• Knowledge of agricultural accounting would be beneficial.

• Must be curious, organized, and methodical.

• A strong interest in digital tools is essential.

• Enjoyment of teamwork is important.

• Proficient in, or capable of using, Pennylane, ISACOMPTA, RCA Bilan Imagé, Prévi Flash, AGORA Expert, COT TNS, an internal document management system, and a digital platform.
