Accounting Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Oversee a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple business sectors

• Prepare VAT returns, annual financial statements, tax packages, and additional tax returns

• Collaborate with the Branch Director to present financial results

• Offer fundamental tax advice

• Maintain direct communication with clients

• Contribute to advisory services for entrepreneurs

• Operate under the guidance of an Engagement Manager

• Utilize digital tools to enhance clients’ accounting tracking and administrative organization

• Assist business owners

• Undergo training in Exco methodologies post-onboarding

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (three years of higher education) in accounting or a relevant field

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a comparable role, preferably within an accounting firm

• Highly organized and methodical

• Enjoy working collaboratively within a team

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Proactive with the ability to offer recommendations

• Deep interest in digital tools

• Experience with Pennylane, a digital platform, and an internal document management system (DMS)

• Capability to prepare VAT returns, annual financial statements, tax packages, and supplementary tax returns

• Competence in providing basic tax advice
