Accounting Analyst I – Temporary

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Carry out the reversal of monthly provisions and clear items in specified accounts, ensuring a tidy general ledger and precise expense recognition by accounting period.

• Conduct detailed and complex account reconciliations, probing variances and rectifying any inconsistencies.

• Assess and implement accounting reclassifications, guaranteeing correct allocation to cost centers and balance sheet/income statement accounts.

• Utilize the SAP ERP system on a daily basis to execute accounting routines.

• Leverage Google Workspace for controls and reporting purposes.

• Communicate and coordinate with the team and stakeholders through Slack.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

• Substantial hands-on experience with accounting close processes, provision preparation, reconciliations, and accounting reclassifications in medium to large enterprises.

• Highly analytical and organized, with a strong emphasis on adhering to the close schedule.

• Strong sense of ownership and the ability to collaborate effectively.

• SQL skills for data extraction and cross-referencing (preferred).

• Familiarity with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) to aid automation and efficiency initiatives within the department (preferred).

• Professional accounting registration (CRC) (preferred).
