Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Conduct monthly accounting closures and prepare financial statements, which include the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and Statement of Changes in Equity.

• Execute accounting, balance sheet, and bank reconciliations, while also classifying and categorizing transactions.

• Evaluate balance sheets, journal entries, and other accounting data, pinpointing discrepancies and making necessary adjustments and reclassifications.

• Manage accounting procedures for companies under Brazil’s Presumed Profit and Actual Profit tax frameworks.

• Assist in the preparation and submission of ancillary tax obligations, particularly ECD and ECF, alongside calculating and monitoring LALUR.

• Review previous periods and make corrections to maintain the consistency of financial data.

• Oversee demands from various clients, prioritizing tasks effectively to ensure deadlines are achieved.

• Analyze and resolve complex accounting issues.

• Contribute to the organization and enhancement of departmental processes by identifying opportunities for efficiency through technology and automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Accounting, either in progress or completed.

• Experience in accounting closures, reconciliations, classifications, and journal entries.

• Proven experience in analyzing balance sheets and financial statements.

• Familiarity with companies operating under Brazil’s Presumed Profit and Actual Profit tax regimes.

• Practical knowledge of ECD and ECF.

• Experience with the Domínio system.

• Proficiency in Excel.

• Experience managing high-volume operations and/or multiple clients concurrently.

• Ability to analyze accounting information, identify discrepancies, and independently facilitate their resolution.

• Strong organizational skills to juggle various demands, priorities, and deadlines.

• Preferred: Experience in accounting firms, BPO, or accounting outsourcing environments.

• Preferred: Familiarity with LALUR.

• Preferred: Interest in technology, automation, and process enhancement.
