Accounting Analyst – AR

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Supervise and manage the comprehensive Accounts Receivable (AR) process to guarantee timely collections and maintain portfolio health.

• Monitor outstanding invoices, keep track of aging schedules, and proactively engage with overdue accounts to expedite cash recovery.

• Conduct regular AR reconciliations, swiftly identifying and addressing ledger discrepancies or billing disputes.

• Ensure accurate and current customer payment records, open balances, and account statuses are maintained.

• Assist in the formulation and updating of cash flow projections to enhance liquidity and working capital strategies.

• Analyze revenue, costs, and expenses to pinpoint significant financial variances and trends.

• Aid in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and financial projections.

• Execute variance analysis by comparing actual performance with budget and forecast, providing actionable insights to management.

• Collaborate with various teams to foster an efficient and structured financial operation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Accounting, Finance, Accounts Receivable, or comparable corporate positions.

• Strong, demonstrable experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including billing, collections, ledger reconciliations, and portfolio oversight.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel (e.g., pivot tables, advanced formulas, data modeling).

• Practical experience with financial ERPs or accounting software (e.g., Odoo, NetSuite, SAP, or equivalent).

• Proficient in English at an advanced level (B2 or higher, both written and spoken).
