Accounting Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Classify large-scale transactions and enhance automated bank feed processes

• Assess Global and Member regulations for precision and validity

• Examine and resolve AI exception workflow cases identified by automation

• Monthly reconciliation of bank, credit card, and other essential accounts

• Prepare and review Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports

• Ensure the accuracy of payroll and tax-related documents and their integration into the accounting records

• Close member accounts monthly to facilitate efficient year-end tax preparation and compliance

• Collaborate with Member Relations and Tax teams regarding accounting workflows, financial statement analysis, and best practices

• Recognize and report ledger discrepancies, trend irregularities, or absent data prior to month-end closing

• Oversee a portfolio of members, delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financials and guidance

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline is necessary

• CPA, CB, or CPB certification is a plus

• Proficient understanding of bookkeeping and tax principles

• Capability to adapt to cloud-based accounting platforms, CRMs, automated workflow tools, and AI technologies

• Competent in managing high-volume workloads and effectively prioritizing tasks

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Strong written communication skills

• Ability to professionally assist clients and partner teams through asynchronous communication

• Team-oriented approach with a commitment to professionalism, integrity, and accountability

• Legally eligible to work in the United States
