This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Execute tasks related to fund administration.
• Maintain close collaboration with external service providers, including lawyers, notaries, and tax advisors.
• Accountable for the preparation of annual financial statements.
• Independently manage ongoing financial accounting, which includes accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger bookkeeping.
• Review, code, and post incoming and outgoing invoices.
• Process payments and oversee open items and dunning procedures.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with the German Commercial Code (HGB).
• Collaborate with tax advisors, auditors, and internal departments.
• Aid in optimizing and digitizing accounting processes.
• Provide support in fund reporting.
• Completed vocational training or a degree focused on economics/business administration, or an equivalent qualification.
• Initial practical experience within an accounting team, an auditing or tax advisory firm, or a similar company.
• Strong understanding of balance sheets, taxation, liquidity management, and investments.
• Confident communication with external service providers, such as tax advisors and lawyers, along with basic legal knowledge.
• Excellent analytical skills and a strong affinity for numbers.
• Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken (minimum C1 level).
• Availability for at least 15 hours per week.
