Accountant – Niche Markets

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee accounts receivable operations, which includes invoicing, manual payment application, aging reports, and account reconciliations.

• Document routine journal entries and bank transactions.

• Manage accounts payable invoices and credit card transactions.

• Execute month-end closing procedures and account reconciliations.

• Investigate, rectify, and adjust discrepancies found in accounting data.

• Perform bank reconciliations.

• Collaborate with and provide support to team members from various departments.

• Compile, maintain, and analyze financial records and data.

• Ensure that financial reporting is consistent with GAAP and adheres to internal policies, legal requirements, and professional standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• 1–2 years of experience in accrual-based accounting, which encompasses accounts receivable, journal entries, month-end closings, and bank reconciliations.

• Proven track record in an accounting role.

• Demonstrated reliability and consistent attendance.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

• Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to plan, prioritize, and manage projects effectively.

• Keen attention to detail along with strong proofreading and editing skills.

• Capability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.

• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

• Must have authorization to work in the country where the position is located.

• Must be willing to undergo a Level II background and/or security investigation with fingerprinting.
