Accountant – Corporate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee accounts receivable tasks, which include invoicing, applying manual payments, generating aging reports, and reconciling customer accounts.

• Accurately record routine journal entries and bank transactions in a timely manner.

• Manage accounts payable invoices and credit card transactions.

• Carry out month-end closing activities and perform account reconciliations.

• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies found in financial data.

• Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements.

• Provide support to team members and collaborate across various departments.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP while supporting accurate financial reporting, controls, and budgeting systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

• 1-2 years of experience in accrual basis accounting, covering accounts receivable, journal entries, month-end closing, reconciliation, and bank reconciliation.

• Proven capability in an accounting role.

• Consistent and reliable attendance.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.

• Proficient in planning, organizing, and managing projects.

• Detail-oriented with outstanding proofreading and editing skills.

• Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Well-organized, able to prioritize tasks, and work independently.

• Highly self-motivated and directed.

• Must have authorization to work in the country where the position is located.

• Willingness to undergo a Level II background and/or security investigation with fingerprinting.

• Willingness to participate in drug screening.
