Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Prepare comprehensive and precise monthly journal entries by the established deadline for both the Medical Center and Medical Foundation.

• Assist in the creation of monthly financial statements, statistics, and narrative reports for presentation to the Board of Trustees and Corporate office.

• Reconcile, analyze, and make necessary adjustments to general ledger accounts.

• Ensure accurate documentation that supports general ledger account balances.

• Aid in annual budgeting activities, including capital budget, operating budget components, budget analysis, and the preparation of budget packages.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration with a focus on accounting is essential.

• A minimum of four years of accounting experience is required.

• Proficiency in computer accounting systems and spreadsheet applications is necessary.

• The ability to communicate financial information effectively in both written and oral forms is required.

• Capability to carry out responsibilities and finalize projects with minimal oversight is essential.

• Familiarity with accounting practices within the hospital/healthcare sector is preferred.
